Lasagna

After years of buying frozen lasagna, I finally decided to start making it from scratch again. It isn't that hard, and it tastes better. I don't know if this is the best I've ever made, but it was good! This time I actually followed a recipe off the Barilla lasagna box -- I like their noodles, because they don't have to be cooked, and they are less substantial, so soak up the sauce better. Yum!

Hi Dawn,

It looks wonderful! Good job!

Rob and I just bought a Bread machine and are now making our own bread. Yum!

Because we live in HOT Bakersfield, the machine is nice because it does not heat up the whole house in the summer.

Keep up the blog, it will be a wonder journal of your family's going on.

Love, Diana Nelson

I'm shocked that you have been buying frozen lasagna.....never thought it possible!! :) I prefer homemade and make it every once in awhile only bc the ingredients are very expensive overseas...especially cottage cheese or ricotta.......
